I Spend about two minutes imagining what would have happened to your financial desires and goals if the entire stock market had collapsed due to any reason (political, financial etc). Would you have any control over your stock trading strategy then? Imagine that scenario and quickly shift your focus back to the reality. Can you feel intense gratitude for this great blessing from the Creator that financial market is functioning? 

2) What would happen if I went broke? Would I be able to think of even investing in stocks, let alone hoping for a price increase ?

I spend about five minutes imagining a scene where I have no money at all to buy even basic needs like food. I imagine myself being rejected by my relatives close relatives because I have no financial support. I then quickly shift my mind back to reality where none of  

Part B 
Having spent about 15 to 20 minutes on gratitude for existing blessings that came in the form of financial help from Allah........

I would then move on to Part-B of my prayer/dua, that is, gratitude-in-advance to Allah for stock price increase 

"Just dwell on the question: How much grateful I will be to Allah if He gives me stocks that are profitable

Spend about five minutes imagining how much happy excited you will be for Allah/Lord for making your stock increase happen?

Why most gratitude practices and methods don't work?

Gratitude is becoming more and more popular in the area of self development and more and more gurus are jumping in to train people how to practice gratitude to stay happy, healthy and wealthy.

But most of these practices don't produce the desired results for most of the people who join these courses or seminars.

The reason is simple: These gratitude methods fail to change your vibrations. When a gratitude method fails to cause a shift in your vibrations, you will not attract what you desire because you are not in harmony of that goal. Emotionless gratitude is not real gratitude. This is fooling yourself into thinking that you are grateful

Why these gratitude methods don't change my vibrations?

These methods are heavily focused on focusing on benefits only. A human mind is constantly looking for more so naturally it becomes extremely hard to feel gratitude on existing benefits and favors you are blessed with.

What works best?

Looking at blessings/things from a could-be-worse perspective is the only way to create intense feelings of gratitude. Imagining a worse possible scenario for a couple of seconds on any blessing will do the trick.

 Put it to test now and see for yourself how could-be-worse-gratitude-method changes your feelings and then vibrations: Intense gratitude on your ability to walk/run and legs in general

Imagine yourself in a hospital bed following an accident that broke one of your legs. Visualize a bit by making a mental film and feel what it is like to lose a leg. Imagine all the troubles that lay ahead as a result of your not being able to walk now. You can't go to job. You can't walk or run or jog. Now stop the mental film and return to reality. You will notice that your feelings about your legs have now changed. You will notice that you are now paying focused attention to the importance of your legs. As a result of this, you have raised your vibrations.

Why this simple method caused a big change in your vibrations and feelings?

Because you made the right assessment of that blessing (importance of your legs) by shifting your focus on a scenario where you have lost one of your legs. When you finally come out of that mental film (of worse possible scenario), your mind shifts back to reality and it convinces itself that your legs are intact. Here your mind processes, in a millisecond, all the benefits linked to your legs (your walking ability, your feet, your ability to perform day-to-day tasks, your ability to play and run, etc).

Some people deny the existence of black magic at all but the fact is anybody can be the victim of black magic with or without knowing. The following symptoms and effects will help detect and identify the existence of black magic. There are three main facets to this. One is black magic or Sihr, jinn possession and evil eye. However, most of the times the effects are similar and one can easily identify and detect black magic.

Quran Dua for protection from hell fire (jahannam)

There are a number of Duas Allah has taught us and these not only relate to our akhirah, but also to worldly affairs. One such amazing dua I am going to share with you is a much-have prayer in your daily recitations and duas that you typically do after every salah or on other occasions.

Please recite this precise and beautiful Dua from Quran and seek Allah's mercy and forgiveness so He will save us from hellfire (jahannam).

Translation:"Our Lord ! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire" (Surah Al Baqarah, verse number 201)

English transliteration: "Rabbana Atina fid-dunya hasanah Wa fil akhirati hasanah waqina azaban naar"

People usually make dua regarding their worldly affairs, which of course Allah wants us to do as He says in Quran: "O mankind! It is you who stand in need of Allah, whereas, He alone is self-sufficient" (Surah Al Fatir 35:15)

However, the dua mentioned above covers both aspects of human life - world and life after death.


If you don't know Arabic or not your first language, you may find it a bit hard to create the feeling. Instead of just verbally reciting without thinking what this Quran dua is all about, dwell on the meaning and questions like why is it important to seek Allah's forgiveness and help to protect ourselves from hell fire (jahannam).

Understanding the meaning of the Dua is very important as we cannot make the most of Quran unless we know the meaning so it will help us answer some fundamental questions like why humans are created and if so what's the purpose. Raising simple questions and letting your mind find answers to them with all sincerity is the key to getting Allah's mercy.

I recommend that you don't set a certain number of times that you should recite this dua as stressed before that empty verbal recitation is not going to make much impact. Instead, set a timer (say 5 minutes) and let your mind first raise questions like why is it important for you to make this dua. Asking yourself sincere questions is the key to getting the right answers and information from Allah.

Islamic Dua for asking Jannah (paradise): This dua is from Quran and it is easy to memorise and recite. For those who can't pronounce or read Quran Arabic text, I have included English transliteration as well.
Being Muslim it is very important for us to seek Allah's forgiveness and mercy and protection from hell. Reward for good deed is something Allah himself mentions over and over again in several Quran verses so that we can understand our only refuge is surrender to our Lord and the Creator of Heavens and Earth, which ultimately will lead us to Jannah (with Allah's mercy being the sole reason behind our success).

Recite this Dua as often as you can, especially after you have finished your salah (prayer)
Translation: "Our Lord ! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire" (Surah Baqarah 2:201)
Transliteration: "Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wafil akhirati hasanah waqina azaaban-naar"

 Asking Allah in your dua for paradise is something Allah wants us to do on a regular basis. It is not just enough to simply stick to fives time prayer and do other faraiz, we should also constantly be in touch with Allah through duas and prayers of other forms such as meditating (tafakkur and tadabbur) on Allah and His attributes (mecy, power, intelligence and other attributes).

Dua for protection from grave punishment (azab e qabr): Grave punishment (azab e qabr) is often mentioned in Ahadith and it is important for all Muslims to pay attention to the instructions and guidelines that these Ahadith outline so that we can protect ourselves from grave punishment and pain.

Dua for making something impossible completely possible: This Dua is powerful as it can turn your impossible tasks into possible ones by the will of Allah. If you are dealing with an impossible work or things, you can repeatedly recite this dua or until you feel confident.

Transliteration: Bismillahi ya badee-al ajaa-ibi bil-khairi ya badee

English translation: "O Allah ! my desire is impossible to me, but not to you. Please make this impossible possible with a miracle"

Impossible Hajat or wish: If you have an impossible hajat which you think is beyond you or it is practically not possible to get it, you can totally put your trust in this dua as it will mean putting your trust in Allah, His unlimited power, His infinite intelligence and his never-ending mercy.

1) Complete belief:

You must have complete and unwavering belief and trust in Allah's ability to make your impossible hajat or work possible as He has complete control over everything existing in the universe. If doubts or evil suggestions try to enter your mind, just take a few breaths and in your mind, ask yourself this simple question: Don't I believe in Allah's ability, power and mercy? Or Is my task or hajat bigger than Allah's power and mercy?

2) Give thanks and gratitude 

Allah loves His praise and appreciation. Start giving thanks to Allah for the favours He is doing you. Give gratitude to Allah also for this dua you have found on this blog as Allah brought you here on purpose. Give thanks by repeatedly saying "Alhamdulillah" verbally and in you r heart.
